Early in his adult life Ian was an on-air personality in radio markets throughout Ontario. Following that he transitioned to a civilian role in municipal policing as a special constable before moving into police communications taking 911 calls and dispatching police and fire.  But his most rewarding roles have been as father to three beautiful daughters and grand-father (Pops!) to his grand-daughter & two grand-sons.
He slaps da bass! in the local cover band, Monkey Mountain, and has performed on stage with the Northumberland Players as Cletus T. Fullernoy in the one act play Lonestar, pulling off a credible Parisienne accent as Maurice in the comedy A Night in Provence and as Sgt. Fogarty, the Judge & in the ensemble of Chicago: The Musical!
He’s also the obnoxious robot Influx in the acclaimed comedy sci-fi podcast Human-B-Gon!
Easy-going and, yet, fired up to produce the best result possible, he gives his all in his custom-built recording booth, nailing copy as requested and ready to receive direction through Source Connect, Skype or phone tap.  And having a passing background in paramedic studies makes medical jargon a breeze!
He’s been described on multiple occasions as bringing a Nick Offerman vibe to his reads with a charismatic charm and can bring the kind of warmth one seeks.
